Synology NAS DDNS update unofficial support for DNS made easy 


DSM 7 unsupport DNS Made Easy DDN update, you can add it manually but you need to shit the password and hostname, and id information to make it working.

DNS Made Easy

Add the domain name under DNS Made Easy and check the Dynamic DNS, please use the domain name as a password, for example, if you create a subdomain your.domain.com and the password will be your.domain.com

Click ok to create the record and please copy the Dynamic DNS ID

FQDN: your.domain.com

DNS ID: 123456789

password: your.domain.com


DSM 7

Add customize a DDNS service provider.

Service Provider: DNSMadeeasy

Query URL: https://cp.dnsmadeeasy.com/servlet/updateip?username=__USERNAME__&password=__HOSTNAME__&id=__PASSWORD__&ip=__MYIP__





Next, click add to add a DDNS update record, select the provider you created, and 

Enter your.domain.com into the hostname field,  

Enter your DNSMade east login email address

Enter DNS ID into the password field. 

click ok the save.
