Importing config from NSa2600 to NSa2700
Importing config from NSa2600 to NSa2700
- Export current configuration from Source firewall
- Access the Migration Tool
- Upload the exported Source firewall file
- Select the Target firewall
- Map the Interfaces from Source to Target (If you don't do this, everything ends on X0 - you have no internet access and the rules are messed up...)
- Select the firmware Version (currently 7.0.1) and Export the configuration file for Target
- Login to MySonicWall
- Register the Firewall
- Download the new firmware (currently 7.0.1)
- Power up the new device
- Login using default IP address
- Register the firewall from the firewall
- Upgrade the firmware
- Import the new Config file
- Check DNS settings (manually configure if necessary)
- Reboot firewall
- Login and check everything
