Have you ever needed to look up the SSH default password on a ShoreTel T1 or T1k? 

I Here is what their documentation says (although very hard to find):

You are prompted for a user name and password.
Step 2:For the user name, enter anonymous.
Step 3:For the password, enter ShoreTel (case sensitive).

If anonymous did not work for you, please try root or admin.
