SSH Reset


Via SSH, users can apply syswrapper.sh restore-default. The UAP should quickly reboot with factory default settings. 

 syswrapper.sh restore-default


Login ssh with default username: ubnt and password: ubnt than type command below, after adopt the AP you have to send set-inform again.

  • mca-cli
  • set-inform http://unifi-controller:8080/inform
  • set-inform http://unifi-controller:8080/inform




Adoption request sent to 'http://unifi-controller:80880/inform'.

1. please adopt it on the controller
2. issue the set-inform command again
3. <inform_url> will be saved after device is successfully managed
