Reset Diginet DVR Server Password
If a password issue..
Diginet 4.137 - Search for dpassword* delete the file and restart the software.
If a Site code issue.. You want to verify the site code, under the 'System Information' tab on the server DVR. To make sure it matches the site code on the client. By default its 'Site100-000'. Its best to keep a uniformed site code, no spaces, etc. If setting up multiple DVRs, perhaps try 'Site100-001', 'Site100-002' and so on. Also on the client software, you want to checkmark the top option 'Check if this a site older than version 5.0' so you can change the site code.
1. in DIGINET 4.13p7, the password that this is referring to is in the tab called "Modem Setup" it is a 4 digit numeric password (usually 1234). Try clearing it and typing it in again. The password to log onto the local system is different than the remote password.
2. If you clear the password and type it in again, do the same thing with the site code.
3. Make sure they match in your remote software and try it again.
Everything should now work. If it doesn't there could be something on the network where the DVR resides that is using or blocking port 8080.
The ports on the DVR and on the remote software can be changed. However, changing the ports requires a reboot.
The ports used are:
Control Port Number
Main Control Port 8080
Main Video Port 8081
IntelliUpgrade Port 8083
Health Monitor Port 8084
Emergency Monitor Port 8085
Center Backup-Server Port 8090
