Shoretel 13.1 File-based Music on Hold
 
File-based Music on Hold is now supported. Files are stored on HQ, DVS, and the ShoreGear switches. The use of this Music on Hold method does not use resources off the ShoreGear switches
 
 
1. Upload MOH Wav file: Login to ShoreTel Director > Call Control > Music On Hold > Files > Click New > assign a MOH name and select a wav file to upload.
 
2. Change System Default MOH: Under Call Control > System Defaults > File Based System Default > Select the MOH file.
 
3. Enable File-based Music on Hold: Under Application Servers > HQ/DVS > HQ Server > Check Enable File Based Music On Hold, and enter Music On Hold Local Extension "Dummy extension"
 
4. Assign MOH to Users Group: Under User Groups > Select any Group > Change Music On Hold.
 
5. Done.
